Sailor’s Knot Bracelet and Loop Bracelet for Everyday Style
Don't you love it when someone compliments your bracelet and you look down, almost surprised, because you'd forgotten you had anything on? That's when you know a piece works. Our sailor’s knot bracelet and loop bracelet both do this. They go on in the morning and stay through showers, workouts, cooking, sleep. You stop registering them as something you're wearing.
If you take a bracelet off every night, it's an accessory. If it stays on for weeks, it's become part of your wrist.
What Makes a Sailor’s Knot Bracelet Different
The sailor’s knot isn't decoration. It's structure. We make three versions:
Sterling Silver Cape Cod Ball Love Knot Bracelet
14K Gold Ball Love Knot Bracelet
14K Rose Gold Love Knot Ball Bracelet
Each one uses the same interwoven double-loop design. Two strands woven into an infinity knot, doubled back on itself, with a Cape Cod ball at one end.
This is the same knot configuration maritime rope workers used to secure rigging in storms. When sailor’s needed a knot that absolutely would not slip under tension, this was it. The double-loop design tightens under stress but never comes undone. Look at how the metal crosses over itself, loops back through, and interlocks. That's functional engineering from centuries of maritime work, now in jewelry form.
The Loop Bracelet: One Hook, Zero Complications
The loop bracelet uses a fisherman's hook closure. We make four versions:
Sterling Silver Fisherman's Loop Hook Bracelet
14K Gold Ball Twist Fisherman's Loop Hook Bracelet
14K Rose Gold Fisherman's Loop Hook Ball Bracelet
14K Rose Gold Twist Fisherman's Loop Hook Bracelet
Sterling silver or gold ball on one end, curved hook on the other. No clasps, no jump rings, no springs that wear out.
The ball's weight keeps the hook closed during wear. To take it off, you just lift the ball and unhook it. Same principle commercial fishermen use for gear that needs to stay secure but release quickly.
Customers wear their loop bracelet swimming, working, sleeping. It stays on the way a wedding band does. We designed it as a companion to our Cape Cod Ball Bracelet, but it works alone just as well.
Why These Two Bracelets End Up Being Daily Wear
Seven years of making these, here's what happens: people wear the sailor’s knot bracelet and loop bracelet constantly because they're built for it. Solid sterling silver, 14K gold, or 14K rose gold, handcrafted here in Harwich Port, lifetime guarantee included. They're made to withstand actual daily wear. Not the kind where you're careful, the kind where you forget you have them on.
The sailor’s knot bracelet has visual weight without bulk. The interwoven double-loop design with the Cape Cod ball looks intentional. The loop bracelet is clean and minimal but still visible on your wrist. Neither one hides, neither one dominates.
We see customers stack them. Sailor’s knot on one wrist, loop bracelet on the other. Both on the same wrist with a Cape Cod Ball Bracelet. Mix sterling with gold, or keep them matched. There's no prescribed way to wear them. They're functional first, which means they adapt to however you use them.
The Symbolism Piece (But Not Why You'll Actually Wear It)
The sailor’s knot symbolizes unbreakable bonds, commitment, affection, infinity. The continuous loop represents connection without end. People buy sailor’s knot bracelets for those meanings, especially as gifts.
But symbolism is why someone chooses it. Durability is why they keep wearing it. It survives your wrist, looks good with everything, and the knot construction holds up. The loop bracelet has maritime heritage too—fisherman's hook design, Cape Cod tradition. You'll wear it because the closure mechanism actually works and the silver ball has enough heft to keep it closed.
The meaning adds depth. The construction keeps it on your wrist.
What "Handcrafted" Actually Means Here
Every sailor’s knot bracelet and loop bracelet is made by hand in our Main Street studio. The sailor’s knot requires hand-weaving because the interlocking double-loop design can't be cast or stamped. You weave the metal strand by strand to create the infinity knot configuration.
The loop bracelet is simpler. Hand-formed curved hook, sterling ball attached with proper tension. We size every bracelet individually and adjust loop spacing for different wrist measurements. All finishing happens in-house.
The lifetime guarantee covers resizing, refinishing, or repair for as long as you own the piece. We get bracelets back after years of wear that need new polish or slight sizing changes.
The Monahan & Company Connection
In March 2025, we acquired Monahan & Company, the heritage Cape Cod jewelry brand known for Cape Cod Ball Jewelry. Those ball bracelets have been a Cape Cod staple for decades and pair well with our sailor’s knot bracelet and loop bracelet designs.
We make the full Monahan collection now, alongside LEXACO pieces, all in the Harwich Port studio. Same handcraft methods, same lifetime guarantee, broader collection. Classic ball bracelets plus our knot and loop designs.
